Our Organization

The North Bay Indigenous Hub (NBIH) will provide a wide range of programming services including traditional healing, primary care, health promotion, chronic disease management, family-focused maternal/child health care, mental wellness care, diabetes care, and a culturally integrated licensed child care facility. All of the programs are to be delivered in a culturally safe manner to the local urban Indigenous population in addition to our partner First Nations, Nipissing, Temagami and Dokis First Nations.

Our staff will work in collaboration with you and/or your family member to support the healing path of your choice. We will work hard to ensure that you will be in control of your health and wellness plan. If you choose, your health provider will collaborate with the traditional healing team, so that you also have access to traditional Indigenous medicines and practices.

All services will be available to First Nations, Inuit, Métis people, without distinction of status, non-status or residence.
